UPCOMING COURSES Computers for Beginners Join our computers for beginners course planned to commence on Thursday, 16 July, 2009, 1pm - 3pm (5 Weeks) in Camperdown. Open up a whole new world through learning how to us a computer. Introduction to Computers Introduction courses expands on the beginners course to increase your computer skills. Daytime/Evening courses available in most locations. Register your interest in these courses. Senior First Aid and Update Courses These courses are for people wishing to gain first aid qualifications for work or to update their qualifications. Course scheduled to commence on Wednesday, 15 July, 2009 (3 Weeks) 9.30am-4.30pm. Cost: Full Course $190.00 Update (15 July) $120.00. Certificate III In Business Administration (BSB30407) This nationally accredited course enable participants to develop competence in office administration including such areas as accounting, processing records, communication, Occupational Health and Safety, operating office equipment, operate a computer to produce simple documents, organisation of personal work schedules and operating as a team member. Course available now on Monday nights, 7.00pm 10.00pm. Final enrollments now. Introduction to Photoshop This course designed to look at basic and advanced operations of Photoshop beginning with an introduction to the Photoshop environment. You will learn how to create simple digital paintings, edit your own photographs to remove red-eye, get rid of dust and scratches, and correct image. Course scheduled to commence on Thursday 23 July, 2009 (6 weeks) 7pm-10pm. Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAA40104) This nationally accredited course enables people to obtain a qualification to deliver nationally accredited training and assessment. The new components of the course include how to work effectively in vocational education and training, fostering inclusive learning, the development of assessment tools and facilitation of group and individual learning and industry based assessment. Saturday course to commence 22 August, 2009. (9.30am-4.00pm) 11 weeks. Please note that courses can only proceed if sufficient enrolments are received Migrant English Program We are able to offer migrant English tuition to new arrivals living in the region. English tutoring can take place in your own home under the remote services funding from Adult Migrant Education Services. You may be eligible for this free tuition.
